Voyage to Galapagos was produced by MW Productions; proceeds to the Albatross Foundation.

"Voyage to Galapagos" is a 4 CD-ROM set that gives students a self-directed, project-based opportunity to explore 10 Galapagos Islands in search of evidence of variation, function and adaptation-- the building blocks of evolution theory. Students will analyze the data they collect in a virtual laboratory. In addition, they can view movies about Darwin's own journey of discovery aboard the Beagle, and the impact of that journey on developing his ideas.

"Voyage to Galapagos" was supported by the National Science Foundation

The English-language package is aligned with National Science Standards, including "Teaching of Science as Inquiry", "Biological Evolution", and "The History and Nature of Science". It's intended for use in grades 6 -10 and includes a comprehensive Teacher's Guide, complete with instructional guidance and additional in-class activities. The project was made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
