Over the years we have perceived ourselves as being independent of the natural world. Today what has been the basis of our success now threatens to bring about our failure. The Galapagos Islands, home for a wide variety of unique species and beautiful landscapes, are being threatened constantly by this selfish rule. Galapagos is truly a gift to the human sight; a wonder among wonders, a hideout for those who want to find peace, one of but a few natural laboratories where one can witness nature at its best.

For these and many more reasons we believe that it is our obligation to the world to educate the children of Galapagos; to teach them about conservation and to help them understand the richness of their native land and heritage. We must motivate them to continue their studies in the scientific, policy making and management fields in order to play their full part in safeguarding the future of the islands. Galapagos is a World Heritage Site that belongs to all the countries of our world because of its natural richness. We need you to assist us to achieve the equilibrium between humankind and nature in the Islands.

Our current project aims to build and equip an educational facility for the children and youth of Galapagos. Our goal is to supplement the state’s educational provision with the study of the islands’ unique land and marine ecosystems, their conservation needs, and to introduce young Galapagueños to the possibility that they can play a full part in safeguarding the future of this UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage Site.We would like to invite you to join us in our quest to bring back and preserve the dignity of this paradise called "The Enchanted Islands".
